PROGRAMMES

The ICT Leadership Programme is SACE-endorsed and works with school principals, ICT coordinators, e-learning leaders and ICT committees to create a vision for ICT, develop a roadmap and plan towards achieving their targets. The purpose of this course is to give the Schools’ Senior Management Team (SMT), including the principal, and also the School’s Governing Body (SGB), information on using and managing ICT resources. This course also considers implications for using computers and related resources for teaching and learning integration.

The 8-module course includes:

Module 3: The role of the educator in the modern-day classroom

Module 4: ICT vision, roles and responsibilities

Module 5: Collaboration

Module 6: Strategic ICT plan

Module 7: Teacher professional development

Module 8: Sustainability exit-plan
