Learner Support
Using school facilities, we design and implement a range of learner support programmes, which generally takes place after-school. An appreciation of the school context informs the design of these programmes and the availability of the internet for learning remains a critical aspect of whether a reliance on the online resources can be developed. After-school learner support is often linked to the availability of staffing. Here, we support schools by partnering with local community members to enable these programmes.

The Robotics Programme
Our Robotics Programme aims to promote the study of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) in high school learners. Learners are provided the opportunity to apply theoretical concepts from mathematics, science and technology to a functioning robot. We use a variety of robotic kits which include Lego robots, Micro: bits, Raspberry Pi and many more. The practical application in using these types of robots is an important skill in all the STEM subjects. Working on these tasks inspires learners’ natural curiosity and promotes critical thinking, team-building skills and creativity.

The Coding Programme
Here, we helps learners understand the fundamental ideas about computers and programming and help them develop some basic problem-solving and project design skills. Learners are exposed to variety of coding languages, such as Scratch, Minecraft, Blockily, HTML, Javascript and so much more. There is a logical transition of knowledge that these coding languages provides that sparks learners’ creative ability and gives them the desired skill to be able to design and execute projects that particularly interest them.
