Information Technology Enabler (ITE) Programme
We recruit unemployed youth, train them in practical ICT support skills and place them in schools where technical support is needed most. These interns become the backbone of school technology operations, supporting computer labs, networks, devices, software, learning platforms and classroom ICT needs.
Upon qualifying for this programme and successful acceptance into the ITE Programme, you will receive:
  • Training in Office applications, basic PC Technician and Facilitation Skills
  • Introduction to Microsoft Technical Assistant and CompTia Fundamentals
  • Soft Skills Training (Project Management, Teamwork, Time Management, Financial Management, etc.)
  • Work experience in a school PC Lab or ICT integrated classroom, with the support of a mentor
  • 15 Days annual paid leave
  • A monthly stipend
Application information
  • Young, vibrant, responsible and committed adults between ages 18 to 36
  • The willingness to take responsibility for improving your personal development and workplace skills
  • Grade 12 with an interest in Information Technology
  • Basic computer literacy skills
  • Availability: Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00 (8am to 5pm)
  • Police Clearance Certificate
